After Eight Chocolate Chip Cookies

I mentioned here that I would bake cookies. It all started out nice and dandy, but once I started to mix the dough, the whisk broke. I switched to a tiny one, the size of a fork. Cute yes, but not that efficient. As I started to measure the flour in, the measuring cup broke. I'm afraid that these delish cookies might contain fragments of plaster (sorry for the gastric ulcers friends).

It was good fun though, I laughed my arse off when the second malfunction happened. 

I followed this recipe, adding a tad of black coffee in the mix to boost the flavor of chocolate. I slipped in After Eight chocolates too, for a thin mint surprise inside.
